How to keep a four year old occupied

I would not advice anyone to get in to babysitting if they do not love kids or cannot stand kids if they do so, then they are going to have a massive case of insanity because kids are usually under estimated and yet they are strong and smart little creatures. I love baby sitting especially the ones under one year and many parents prefer I baby sit for them compared to other sitters. Words gets out really fast if there is someone who is really good in something and that is what happened to me. One day I got a distressed call from a mother who needed me to watch her four year old son because something had come up and she could not live him with anyone else. I wanted to decline but my heart went out to her so I gave in. This was a problem because this was unfamiliar territory. Called a friend who was good with kids of that age and she lend me her nba 2k10 wii that was going to keep the boy occupied. I asked for the nba 2k10 instruction manual wii because I also wanted to know how to play it. When the boy saw it, he was besides joy, and the manual was not necessary because he was a quick learner who taught me how to set it up and play it. It was an awesome experience, and from that day on wards, he always asked for me whenever the mom needed a sitter.
